Stupid Bluetooth

i installed the bluetooth driver for my inspiron 1545 atleast 4 times with no luck. My computer will not connect to anything. my mouse, my phone or my boyfriends iphone. None of the devices show up on the computer and the computer deos not show up on my phone or iphone. When i disable all wireless and then enabled it my mouse will show up under devices and then immediately disappear. When i try to add devices nothing happens. I have tried everything both dell and the microsoft mouse has suggested with no luck. I tried to do the chat thing but i found out that i am a week or 2 out of warrenty so i can not do that or email them. so i called was on hold for about 25 minutes and talked to the man for about 3, before wither him or I hung up while i was on hold waiting for him to get the info for my computer, but its not like i could even understand what he was saying.

so i guess my question is why isn't my computer finding my mouse???

Mouse: Mircosoft Bluetooth Notebook mouse 500

Hardware Computer: Dell wireless 365 Bluetooth Module

Hardware Mouse: Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator

At a point in time the mouse actually worked on this computer and for some reason it does not now.
