System Restore Messed Up My Wireless Connection

All -

So I decide to do a Dell System restore today to clean up my Laptop E1515. Eveything worked perfect - my system is a lot quicker and very clean. However, I noticed a MAJOR problem now. My wireless internet connection is very very slow. I tested it on a speed site and it tested at 22.3 bytes per sec. Now when I shut my wireless down and plug into my router it's much higher like 50 bytes per sec.

My wireless adaptor is a Intel/PROSET 3945ABG and I am using a Linksys router with Verizon DSL. I never had any problems with the Wireless network before, just after doing the system restore.

Please help! Any advice on how I can this back to normal speeds?

Thanks!!!

Please clarify what you did.  Did you do a Windows System Restore (set back to a specific date and time) from within Windows, or a PC Restore (use Cntrl - F11 before Windows loads) to set the system back to it's factory shipped state?  Sorry if my question is too basic, but lots of users on this forum get these two mixed up.

Steve,

Thanks for your reply. I did a Control + F11. However, I seemed to have fixed the problem after ALL of the windows services packs were reinstalled and after all of the divers since the factory release date were installed.

Thanks for your time.
