Do you have service pack 2 installed? Did you install the required chipset files that are shown on your systems download page.

i hav the same prob!!!! i have an inspiron 531s...with the integrated wireless bluetooth mobule (CAB-200) and i coudnt find any way to get it work on xp....

dell should make an xp driver as well...or some kind of a driver that will atleast have the basic functions of the bluetooth working!

Cabits

have an XPS-1530, with DellTrueMobile 355 Bluetooth..

turned it to XP and bluetooth was all fine using drivers and utility from following links :

I have researched this bluetooth problem for over an hour today.

The survey says ... You can't get the Dell 19-1 card reader to work with XP. Sorry, Please, someone prove me wrong. :emotion-21:

i tried downloading the 355 module driver and the patch. But during installation it asks me to turn on my bluetooth adapter using fn+F2, but this is just not possible for me (or Cabits) since we have desktops.... So the end result was that the software installed but it didnt recognize my bluetotth module :(

I have a Dell Inspiron 530s with a teac cab-200.  I needed the xp driver for this but I could not find one anywhere and the driver pack from dell (R152639) is designed for Vista. I found that instead of running the installer, if I went to the device manager and updated the driver myself with the driver inside of R152639, everything installed fine. The location of the driver is "C:\dell\drivers\R152639\Win32\ "   after you unzip R152639. I picked the first driver in the list.  I hope this helps.
