When you get the message to send the report to Microsoft, click on the link to see details of the error report. Write down and report here the AppName and ModName involved in the error. This may give us information that will allow us to help you.
Unfortunately, that is not too helpful as it is just telling us that Internet Explorer got hung up.
Try the following. Open Intenret Explorer, go to Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons. Remove all of the checkmarks, then run for a while. If the problem is gone, go back to Manage Add-ons and add an Ad-on back, one at time, testing after each one. Perhaps you can find the culprit this way. If you can figure out which one is causing the problem, post back and we can tell you how to deal with it.
