trouble sharing printers...
I have a dell dimension 8400 and i am trying to share a printer with another dell upstairs. we both have xp pro...(oneis media edition.)
i have set up a network but the upstairs computer does not see the downstairs computer.
i keep getting this message...."You might not have permission to use this network resourse. contact the administrator (ME) of the server to find out if you have acess permission..the server cannot be found on the network.."
HELP!!! i have tried everthing....

Make sure the Windows XP firewall is disabled. The XP firewall will not allow file and printer sharing.
