Troubles

I just purchased a Linksys Wireless B Access Point.  I hooked it up to my Actiontec DSL Gateway.  My laptop is a Dell Latitude C860.  I have an excellent signal but cannot connect to the internet.  I ran through the setup but to no avail.  I called Linksys and they said the Truemoble 1150 mini-pci card I have is not receiving the AP name.  Anyone have any suggestions?  One more day and I'm taking the darn thing back (the Linksys).  Thanks in advance.
