true mobile 2350 install problems

Hi, I,m trying to install a new true mobile 2350 broadband router.I have a cable modem (ethernet conencted) and I,m running XP SP2 Home edition. The problem is when I run teh install utility it 'blanks' the screen (like it;s running in Dos) there are a few lines of data flashing through then the screen stays permanently blank.the only way to get back to windows is to put my PC into sleep mode then wake it up, but that cut my modem connention and fails the install procedure. The PC doesn;t respond (on screen) to the usal cont/Esc or Control/Alt/Del commands, theya re running but I can;t see them on the screen.Ideas gratefully received

Note that you do not need to install any software whatsoever to use or configure your router.  In fact, you would probably be better off if you did not install the software.  Try using the web based configuration utility to setup and configure the router.  All you need is an internet browser to do this.  Read the user's manual that came with the router - it may be on the CD.
