Turn on wireless capability
I have an Inspiron N5010 laptop. Just today I am suddenly getting an error message saying I cannot find any wireless connections. When I troubleshoot it says "turn on wireless capability." I've searched this forum and found that on this computer I turn on wireless capability by holding down the Fn button and pushing the F2 button at the same time. I did that and it hasn't worked. Still getting the same error message. What else can/should I try?

kokokringle,
Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled
Can you run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

Dell Inspiron 1545.
To turn ON the Wireless connection just press the F2 button. (No need to press Fn)
Go to Mobility Centre to check drivers are up to date an is turned on.

Hello. I see the discussion is almost not relevant anymore, but I also faced such a problem. Like you, I've tried everything. The solution was to contact the IT company and call a specialist. Now I know that you do not need to climb yourself, but just go where you need to.
