Two 2350's on same LAN

Hi there,
I've been trying to configure two 2350's to service 2 floors of a building.

Out of the box, everything works fine- I've setup 2350 #2 as an access point and connected a cable between the ports as the signal is too weak to get to the other floor.

But once I start customizing, things go downhill.

I need to change the SSID, hide it, enable both WEP and MAC address filtering.

Once I enable WEP, I can't connect wirelessly.

The goal is to have all the PC's connected wirelessly to their respective 2350 on their floor, but 2350 #1 has the DSL plugged into it.

Has anyone ever successfully achieved 2 2350's in a similar scenario?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

I believe XP SP2 now requires the SSID to be broadcast.  And the 2350 configured as the WAP should not be issuing IP addresses (not be doing DHCP) but the main 2350 that is connected to the DSL modem whould be the DHCP server.
