Two Antennas in i8200
There has been a lot of past talk about the antenna in the i8200, but I have yet to find a clear cut solution in any of these posts. There is currently one internal antenna that connects to the mini-PCI card. Does anyone know where the antenna is located? Some have said near the right palm rest, some have said in the LCD. If anyone has added a second antenna or moved the original please respond to this post. I just bought the Intel Pro 2200 wireless card. I am very interested in replacing the old antenna with two longer antennas that run to the LCD screen. Does anyone know if this possible and if so, how do you do it? If anyone has any information on antennas and the i8200 please respond. Thank you very much.

Have you found somewhere to buy replacement antenna's for laptops? I wouldn't mind adding another to my 8200, but I have been unable to find anyone who sells them.

I don't know how or if you could route the antenna into the display. If you do it, please post back on this forum with details.

Hi,
There is only 1 antenna, it is the " blank " on the other side to the modem and network port. ( RHS ) You may be able to add others, but you will have to re-invent the wheel. By that I mean it wont be neat or easy with parts from a box.
