UDP/TCP
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know whether TCP or UDP is the external port and which one is the incoming port. I am having trouble configuring my router for a game, and it needs this.
My router is USR 8000-02. The help files aren't great on it.
If anyone else knows how to configure this also please write that too.
Thanks
Ryan

Here's a short tutorial on TCP/IP basics that will help you understand the terms better.

The ports can be used by either tcp or udp. You need to configure the incoming port(s) only (all outgoing ports are available to you without doing anything). I recommend once you know the port(s) for your game find the section of your document that deals with port forwarding and you should be ok.
Hope this helps...
