Unable detect wireless network

I have a Inspiron B120 with an internal wireless card and it has worked fine until a few weeks ago it just stopped detecting wireless networks. I have tried re-setting it and different people tried to fix it and it just won't detect any wireless. Help!

1.  Is the radio on the adapter switched on?  Press Fn+F2 to toggle the state of the radio

2.  Which wireless client software are you using?  Are you looking at the right client software?

3.  Might help if we know specifically what you have tried already.

I just would like to thank everyone for their postings, i find this forum to be 10x more informative and helpfull than calling dell customer service. The last two issues I had I stayed 40+ minutes on the phone and still had not resolvedmy problem. I come here and within ten minutes its resolved. I too accidently shut off the wireless radio and was unable to detect any networks. Thanks for the advice!

Too bad the folks in India don't know what they are doing, unfortunately, I don't have to talk to them when I need tech support.

It's a common cause of many nervous breakdowns :smileyvery-happy:  Many of my friends call me frustrated complaining of their wireless are not working and it's often because they have taken their notebooks on the plane and they forgrt they have turned off wireless afterwards or that the maid has accidentally turned it off while dusting the notebook (some notebooks like those from Sony have a physical on/off switch)
