You have not provided enough information for anyone here to be able to help.  Which model computer?  Which version of Windows?  Which wireless network adapter do you have?  Did you just reinstall Windows?  If so, and if it is Windows XP, did you install the chipset drivers before even attempting to install any other device drivers?

You should be using the driver from the Intel site to avoid problems with Dell downloads.  Dell inerts code into the inf file of their drivers which restricts their use to computers on which Dell has tested the drivers  You are using a wireless card that Dell has not likely tested under Windows XP on a computer on which they likely have not tested the drivers.  Besides, the Intel Drivers are more up to date.

it says it was unable to detect a supported wireless adapter. Even tho it was running perfect on the Vista.
