Unable to install bluetooth

Question

Hi All,

My new Precision M70 arrived today with everything but bluetooth installed - now I think I know why - it wont install. It gets to 56% and then stalls. At the point it installs it asks me to start bluetooth with Fn+F2, but this starts wireless networking instead (IntelPRO 2200BG which I suspect is the problem).

I have tried enabling and disabling wireless when doing the install - nothing helps. I am now considering removing the wireless card and trying again but would like to avoid opening the machine on day 1 if possible!

Any help greatly appreciated.

I have this same problem!!! I've been troubleshooting for hours. Can anyone help? Weird thing is I don't have any Bluetooth devices listed in the Device Manager. Dell Latitude D610 w/XP SP2 Jason

I am having absolutly the same problem with 56%.   Dell Inspiron 9300 + Bluetooth 350   Awaiting for someone to help....
