Unable to Log In

I set up my computers and after I either reboot or shutdown I am unable to log into the domain. I must login in locally set the wireless network and then login. Any thoughts?

Hi Brian,

Which wireless card do you have on the computer? There is this feature called "Pre-Logon Connect" that has to be enabled in the driver for the wireless card. Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for the wireless card. Also let me know what Operating System you are running on the computer?

Is it Windows XP or the Utility that is managing the wireless connection (If operating System is XP)? Try switching from one to the other and check if it makes any difference.

Regards
Chris

Hi Chris:
Thanks for the reponse. I am loging into a 2k3 network using a latitude d630 and the intel program running the wirless. I have the preconnect turned on. I shut the firewall off and have the dell quick set also set to connect to any wireless.
Any thoughts?
