Unable to open attachments

Question

I get an error message when I try to open jpeg or gif files that are attached to emails.  I can open them if I save them to a file.  Any suggestions?   Thanks.

I guess I desired that reply.  Okay it says: file c:/documents and settings/owner/local settings/temporary internet files/Olk56/nameofpicture.jpg could not be opened   Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is this the only file?  If so, since it is in the Temp Folder, I would say it is corrupted and there isn't much you can do about it.

No.  Unfortunately I get the same message with all the jpeg and gif files that come in through email.
