Uninstall Intel Proset Software

Several months ago I purchased a Dell Latitude D830 laptop with an Intel 4965 11a/g/n dual-band mini card.  I could not reduce the running processes to less than 51.  I was also disappointed in how slow the computer responded to commands.  Especially loading web pages.  Today I unnstalled the Intel Proset Wireless software.  In the deal I lost seven (7) running processes and have a much faster computer.  After starting the computer it now connects much faster.  I really have no idea of the value of the Intel Proset software.  I would advise anyone running the same software to consider the same.  Just allowing Windows to manage the connection is not enough.  Intel Proset must be completely uninstalled.
