Using 2 internet connections on M1730

I have an M1730 laptop, and 2 internet connections ( verizon mobile internet )

I can connect both modems to the internet at the same time.

My question is: Is it possible to direct certain traffic to a certain modem?

Example:  Internet browsing through Modem A and email through Modem B

I am not sure if this is possible or not, or if I need a 3rd party app etc...

If anyone has done something similar or knows of how this can be done, I would greatly appreciate the info ;)

Thank you

The efficiency of an internet connection comes from the protocols and ports that you have opened on the router. Having multiple internet connections running on a system that only needs to use one can affect the network protocols in windows and prevent one or both from working. Some services cannot be performed directly from a mobile broadband connection, such as a wireless printer so your regular wireless would be used, but only for specific applications would you have the internet traffic diverted. Using an application to manually route traffic through windows will reduce your performance dramatically.
