Using TM 1100 as an Access Point

I'm currently using the TrueMobile 2300 for my wireless network. I also have an old TrueMobile 1100 router that I would like to use as an access point to extend coverage in my home. Is this possible? I've been messing around with the 2300 router settings, but the 1100 router settings are pretty basic and it doesn't have any options on how I would like the router to behave. I would like to use the 2300 as my gateway and the 1100 as the access point.

Thanks

Wire connect the 1100's WAN or Internet port to the 2300's LAN port.  Log into the 1100 and change it's IP address on the DHCP side to something other than the 2300's range (if the 2300 is 192.168.2.1, make the 1100 192.168.3.1).  It will be an access point, on a seperate network, but it works that way.

You can also disable DHCP on the router and give it a Static IP Address on the lan.

Wasn't sure the 1100 could do that.  That makes it easier and keeps all computers on the same network - do that instead.  Assign the static IP address in the router's network group as the 1100's WAN ip address.
