Using Wireless Router and Dial Up

Hi,

I am connecting to the Internet on my i8500 using a Wireless Router via high speed cable. I would like to be able to use the Internet away from home by using a dial up connection. If I install the software (Walmart Connect) what do I have to do to use the dial up? Do I disable the wireless connection by right clicking the Icon and choosing disable? The wireless is up and running as soon as I boot the laptop up. I'm pretty confused as to whether or not this is going to mess up my wireless connection.

If I choose the dial up do I just plug in the phone line, boot up and click the Walmart Icon? Any help or links appreciated. Thanks.

I generally disable any connection I'm not using, just to avoid any ambiguity. The system should use whatever connection is active.

Right click on the network icon in the system try and select "disable".  If the wireless network icon isn't in the tray, go to Control Panel Networks then right click on the wireless network icon and select "disable".  It can be re-enabled by the same process.

How do you go about disabling the wireless connection?

You do not need to disable the wireless to use the dialup connection.. (to answer your question), but I do disable the wireless, and lan when they are not in use.

Thanks for the replies. Now I feel a little more comfortable with this dial up thing.
