Question

I installed the 56K PCI Faxmodem in my 5150 and the phone tools software that cam with it. When it open only the Fax part show on the screen I don't have the phone part of it, I need the answering machine part too. I only have the integrated sound. Do I need a sound card for that part to work? The Phone Tools software is version 4.35.

If you installed a 'fax/data' modem then you do not have the voice capability.  You need a 'voice/fax/data' modem in order to have the voice telephone capability.    Usually the voice/fax/data modems will come with a fax and telephone program.
