Playing video "smoothly" over the internet is a function of your connection to be able to buffer the download.  What type of internet connection do you have?

As noted it's the site and/or link. I'm on broadband (cable) and some of the utube videos are jerky and stop for buffering.

I have a high speed internet connection through a cable modem.

Nothing wrong wih the site.  Not much going on there however.  Is it just this site or is everything slow?

If I try to play a video file in windows media player, that does play, but the playback is choppy.

If I go to the following link and play one of the videos in windows media player, the playback is very choppy although the video does play.
