Virtual Private Network

I have a network server at my office that runs Windows Server 2000 sp4.  I have set up a VPN using a static IP address from Qwest.  I have used the VPN for over 2 years to access my office network when I am at home using my laptop.

Recently I purchased a new desktop from Dell for my girlfriend.  It runs Windows Vista Home edition.  I tried to set up a VPN connection to my office network using my static IP address and the office domain name.  However, I can not connect.  I ran the Windows diagnostics and it said that it fixed the problem but I still could not connect.  Is the problem that I can't connect when I'm runing Vista Home edition instead of Professional?  Any ideas?

I believe you need vista business or ultimate to connect to a domain.
