I would of thought so, on the Dell WLAN Utility on the wireless tab there is a checkbox saying let this program manage my network checking this will obviously mange it unchecking it the program closes and it lets Windows mange your network. I haven't used the Dell Utility since XP, I haven't really needed it on Vista as i just let it connect automatically. Vista's network and sharing center is good enough.
