Vista - XP File and Printer Sharing - Easy Solution!
I constantly read people having trouble getting their file sharing over a mixed network of Vista and XP machines and instead of trying to reply to them all, figured I would post a solution thread. There are a "thousand and one" tricks out there to get it working, but I found the HomeNet Manager software to solve all of my problems! I also spoke with their technical support group and they helped me out as well. Here is the link:

Don't take this anyway but being inquisitive, but why would I pay $39.95 for a program to tell me what I can already see form the Vista side.
I had rather work the problem and find out why something is not working rather than having another resource hogging application running opening holes in the firewall just for the sake of simplicity.
It looks good for the occassional user and I guess that's why the program was written, but ir sure seems like bloatware to me. Just my $.03!! (I got a raise)
