I had the same problem too. Everything is alright now.

Before you can upload an older driver, you must turn off automatic updating of drivers in Windows.

To stop Windows from doing automatic driver updates, navigate to Control Panel > System & Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Hardware > Device Installation Settings. Then choose "No (your device might not work as expected)."

So just responding to my own issue, I wound back to an earlier version of the driver (21.110.0.3) and that worked just fine. However, automatic updates has just reinstalled the latest version and broken it again.

I'm still wondering if this is an issue that only I'm experiencing?

Thanks for your message and I'm glad it's not just me. My solution to preventing driver updates was to update the Windows Update Group Policy. Instructions on how to do so are generally available if you search for "how to disable automatic driver updates", although it seems the Windows Registry structure has changed slightly between Win10 and Win11. I like your solution as it's a lot more straightforward (will definitely accept it). I'm also using WuMgr to check for updates, which seems to work okay on Win11 so far.
