Wake on LAN with Dimension 9100

I've enabled remote wake up at the driver level through the OS (winxp) but still not able to remotely wake up
Page 112 of the Dimension 9100 manual states that "remote wake up" via the NIC is possible.
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim9100/en/D86630LRs.pdf

However, my BIOS setup does not display this option.
Everything else under the "power management" section is there, but "low power mode" and "remote wake up" are not.
I am running BIOS version A03.

Are there any other Dimension 9100 users that are able to do wake on lan?
Thanks

Hi,

Dimension 9100 uses Intel 945P chipset and no where on the Intel website it says it has this supported feature. It supports PXE boot but no Wake Up On Lan. http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/945p/index.htm. PXE is needed only if you intend to boot to an operating system located on a server, not if you are booting to an OS located on a hard drive in this system. I did go through the link you provided from dell with regards to this and suspect it to be an error on the manual. Would suggest you call Dell and get clarification on the same.

Rgds
