what does "behind the router" mean?
What does "behind the router" mean? If I am going to use a notebook wirelessly and I am using a wireless router is that considered to be "behind the router"? or do I have to set thingsup differently? Thank you

In that context it means that the notebook's wireless (or wired) connections are not directly made to the Internet. The router is directly connected to the Internet via a cable or DSL modem, and wireless or wired devices are not directly connected to the Internet, since they are receiving their IP addresses from the router.
