What Modem Drivers?
I have a Dimension L400C, svc tag# 4I68Y. I download the only modem drivers that came up on the list but I can get nothing to install. the modem has 3Com on it. I even used the resource cd to try and install drivers, butno modem comes up on list. My original list has (2) things listed on it for modem. First: Kit, Modem, 56K, PC Interface, 3COM, Asia, Latin America, North America. Second: Modem, 56K, Internal, 3COM, PC Interface, V90, Dell Americas Corporation. Any help would be grateful.

Thank you for visiting the Dell Community Forum.
The modem drivers are not on the Resource CD, instead they shipped on a separate CD with just modem drivers/software. You can also download this driver from our file library at the following location:
http://support.dell.com/filelib/format.aspx?releaseid=r20152
If you ever need to search for it again in the file library, try using the keyword “coyote” which is code name the modem is listed under.
