Where do I plug my Telephone Cable

Question

I am trying to connect to the internet using a dial up connection where do I plug my telephone cable? I cannot see the modem connection on my laptop. I know this might sound like a stupid question but I am really stuck. :smileysad: Thank you for your time and help

On the left hand side ther eare two clear type buttons..you have to push the top one in for the phone connector to pop out. below is a site with diagram:
