Did you take time to see if your router firmware needs updating?  How far are you from the router?

I have updated it from the support/download site from Dell, I have the current version, I am not that far from my router (D-Link DI-524 2.4ghz)
I think it's my cordless phone(Uniden 2.4ghz Cordless) that is interfering. Do you think so?
I also updated the router firmware just right now from D-Link Support page.
But still now luck I still get disconnected and re-connected for some reason.

To minimize the interference with the cordless phone, set the router to use one of the extreme channels (1 or 11).

Nope, I have set it to 1, then 11, still no luck, I still get disconnected, and reconnected. I do not know why, I am very clueless.

I am having the same problem with my Inspiron 1100.  Nobody can seem to answer my problem.  It's very annoying, and it seems as though it only does it if I let the computer go idle.  If I'm using the internet or doing something that requires the wireless card, it doesn't seem to disconnect and reconnect while I'm using it.  I just can't understand why it'll disconnect/reconnect.  I have wireless routers at both my home, and my office, and it does it in both places.  Can anybody please help?  Thank you.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I got it, the problem is coming from the frequencies from the your regular 2.4ghz cordless phone, after a while, a big spacy room, gets filled up by radio signals, from the router and the phone, and once it does, the phone actually takes over, or the router cant stay bonded with the laptop. i.e. if the phone is not on the cradle, the home base of the phone transmits signals to keep bonded, will the router does so with the computer, but lets say the phone rings, the base sends out the signal, and the phone tries to reply back but thats when the 2.4ghz gets in the way, the router sends out signals to the computer to stay connected, while the phone is still ringing and accepts the signal from the router. You get disconnected, after the router figures out that the phone is not the computer, it finds it and reconnect.

So the solutions, I have done and proven to work is, turn off the router turn of your laptop, computer, and the phone base, take of the baterry from the phone. Wait about 30min-1hour for the frequencies to vanish. Then connect the router first, turn on your laptop.computer, then connect first, wait 15-min until the router and the computer are bonded tightly, then turn your phone on.

And you should be good*
