Wi-Fi Intruder Detected

When I turn on my Dell Latitude D820, a pop-up comes up saying that "An intruder connection has been detected in teh Wi-Fi network". It then lists the IP address and stuff. At the end it gives two options, to "Always deny communication with the intruder PC" or to "Always allow communication with the intruder PC". Im not sure which to choose, because I dont know if the "intruder PC" is one of the other computers in our office network.
Any advice would be really helpful

Thanks,
Meggie

a solution to this is i would say is change your security settings on your router. i would recomend WEP 128. i mean it is secure and no one can connect to it if they dont have the HEX key that only you would have.

exactly what is popping up that message, cause it isn't windows... ?  Could be a legitimate AV program, or it could be spyware.

mmm. it could be spyware. im not posotive. i mean i used to get that stuff alot when i was running XP. i really dont know how to determine that if it is or not. you use a wireless router right? what kind of security do you use?

You should always use WPA PSK (Wi-Fi Protected Access)(Pre-Shared Key) Or even WPA 2 (Enterprise)to be even more secure.
