WiFi connectivity problem - Only on Reboot? (E1705 XP)

Question

i have a pretty new e1705 running XP. initially all was well with the WiFi, but at some point over the past few weeks, every time i turn the computer on, the wifi says it has 'Limited or No Connectivity'. when i click 'Repair', it works just fine.   it is running on Selective Startup mode, but i've gone thru all the things that are turned off and it doesn't look like there is anything wifi related that's shut off.   the wifi works, but it is just a pain in the neck to have to Repair the connection every time i turn the computer on.   any help appreciated.   thanks.

ok, here's what is 'unchecked' on Selective Startup:   DellHelp DSAgnt DVDLauncher ehtray GoogleDesktop issch iTunesHelper netWaiting msmsgs qttask Adobe Reader Speed Launch DataViz Inc Messenger Dell Network Assistant ymetray   in case it comes up, here's what is checked: ZCfgSvc ifrmewrk SynTPEnh stsystra ISUSPM tfswctrl cli pccguide ctfmon Digital Line Detect HOTSYNCSHORTCUTNAME   the wireless is handled by the basic XP WiFi Network Connection thing - when i first got the computer it was using the Intel PROSet/Wireless, but i changed it back to windows, it was just easier for me. However - of note is that the wifi was working FINE with autoconnect after i changed that, so it wasn't that change that made it stop working.   thanks.

Make sure the Windows Wireless Zero configuration is set to start automatically.  Go to Start > Run and type services.msc. Find the Wireless Zero Configuration, double click it and make sure it is started and set ot start automatically.   Steve
