Win2K and TM1300

I know that Win2K doesn't have a native wireless software built-in like XP and this is causing a problem for me as the TrueMobile software Utility isn't detecting the network I want to connect to.  Is there any sort of software I could use or does Win2k have any addons?  Or am I stuck with installing XP?

edit - Regarding detecting the network, I'm sure that the winxp's software won't detect it either but after manually entering the SSID, the computer can actually connect to the network.  I saw this first hand on another machine.  Not sure what the problem is with the TrueMobile Utility.

There is a built in utility under the "Configure" tab for the adapter (after you click Properties).

I was speaking to the 2K utility within the Network Adapter properties.

There is nowhere under CONFIGURE where I can manually enter SSIDs. Not sure if thats what you were talking about.

If you right click My Network Places and go to Properties, your adapter(s) will show up there.  Right click your wireless card and go to Properties.  Near the top of the box there is a button named configure with a bout 4 tabs within.  You CAN enter SSID's and the like in one of those tabs.  I did it yesterday.

Is it just you and I on this board or what? :)

Any suggestions as to what I shld do next? Or is it Win2k that is the problem?

I tried following the steps that the site you posted but it doesn't work the way it shows on there.

Do you have all the updates installed for Windows and what about the updates for the card?
