Windoows XP SP2 Upgrade Wireless Connection Problem

I have Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop with a Dell Wireless 1350 Mini PCI card. Which worked fine before installing SP2. Now when attempting to access a wireless connection, I select the view/regresh all wireless connections, Windows Wireless Wizard cannot see/find any connections. It makes reference to known Windows post SP2 bug and gives a reference article # 871122, which talks about the Windows Wireless Configuration Service.

It states specifically that "some manufacturers provide their own configuration software that replace the Windows Wireless Configuration Service provided in Windows.

I can see the network connection on my lower right had screen but it indicate limited or no connectivity.

I'm stumped about how to get back my wireless connections. Any suggestions?

Steve

I tried the solution recommended on the link and it had no effect. However, I tried once again the solution listed in the MS article, and with a twist it did work. I had, after making the changes suggested in the article, to re-enter all pertinent WLAN access data, make sure the service was started and not re-boot. This solution however only works for the period of computer being used. Once I shut down and re-started, I had to re-do all the steps, and interestingly enough, the procedure only work for myself logged in as administrator, if another "User" logged in it would not work.

I'll keep plugging away, and keep you posted. Thanks for your help.
