Windows 10 Driver
I have an Inspiron 5749 and when it was new it had Windows 8.1 on it. I did the upgrade to 10 which I love however Dell has not upgraded the driver for the network card. So my network card is only giving me half speeds while plugged into the ethernet and I am getting about a quarter speed while on wireless. When will Dell get around to updating this driver? I use this computer for work and it is getting to the point where my job is even trying to push me away from Dell due to this issue.

Hi Diehl,
Do you know what wireless card your system has? Here is a link to the drivers for your system: http://del.ly/6591B4hZF Network). I know the 1704/1708 WiFi Driver has a newer one listed vs what Windows 10 originally had so it might be worth a shot (I would recommend re-installing the driver regardless). Also after you install this driver if the speed is still slow, could you try disabling the bluetooth? I am just curious if that changes anything regarding the WiFi speed.
I will be out of the office until Tuesday, but let me know if this changes anything regarding the speed.
Best,
Brad
