Try the following.  Open the Intel Proset Utility and make sure the box is checked next to "Let Windows Manage the wireless connection"  (I don't have the Intel Utility, so I don't know if the wording is exact).  Now open Network Connections, right-click the wireless connection and select Proprties.  Is there a Wireless Networks tab visible?  Is so, click on that tab and check the box next to "Let Windows manange my wireless networks".  If the Wireless Network tab is not present, do the following:  Go to Start > Run and type services.msc then hit the Enter key.  Find the Wireless Zero Configuration service, right click it and select Proerties.  Make sure the service is started (click the Start button) and is set to start automatically.

Now Windows should be managing the wireless connection.  Go back to Network Connections, right click your wireless connection and select "View Available Wireless Networks".  Does your wireless network show up there?  If so, what happens when you select it and click on the Connect button?

Steve, that did it. The command was F10 to have Windows manage the wireless.
You ROCK!
