WINDOWS ERROR RECOVERY
Hi, Can someone please help me with this problem, My 1520 inspiron receive updates tht I allowed it to install and in finishing up the install computer needs to restart than it pops up with that error this is not the first time it did this it than ask me to put in opperating disc to select repair but one time it did the repair than I was able to get in windows but this time it's not even detecting the cd rom drive to try to repair it to get back in. If anyone know of anything for me to do to fix this and stop it from doing this in the future on updates Please Help!!!!!!

Are you able to boot into Safe Mode?
Reboot the system, and keep pressing F8 during the startup process (after taking out the OS disc of course!)?
If you can get into safe mode, try doing a system restore, to just before you installed the last Windows Updates?
Unfortunately however, there's no way of preventing the same thing happening again in the future, since it's impossible to know if updates are going to cause a similar problem :emotion-6:
If you do have the same problem again... all you can do is a system restore again, then install the updates one at a time, until you find out which one it is causing the problem.
You can then refuse to install that particular update.
