Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
I recently bought this win7 Home Prem OA w INSPIRON. Soon after buying the pc I got this message came up re: my email. Does anybody have an idea what that means?
The host 'STMP.charter.net' could not be found. Please verifythat you have entered the server name correctly.
Server: 'smtp.charter.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socker Error: 11004
No Events found!

You have made a mistake in setting up your charter email. Get the correct settings from charter's help page and set it up again in Windows Mail.
I assume that you made a typo when you typed the error message--
Server: 'smtp.charter.net' and the host 'STMP.charter.net' Make sure you actually entered SMTP.charter.net in the settings and not stmp which incorrect.
