Windows Wireless Connection "Repair" Function- Not successful

After upgrading to Intel Pro/Set Wireless A09, the Microsoft Repair function fails with the following message...

Repair Wireless Connection

Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the
following action cannot be completed:
Cleaning the DNS cache

The Repair function worked flawlessly with the A08 level.

Please advise on how to prevent this error message from occurring and the DNS cache cleaned with a successful execution of the Repair Connection function.

The DNS cache can be cleaned manually, with "ipconfig /flushdns" command.

Thanks,

Jim...

It would be best to delete the firmware update. I fried a couple routers by doing firmware upgrades

How about a driver update instead?

Problem Solved...

Click My Computer - Manage - Services and Applications - Services

DNS Client entry was disabled.

Enable with Automatic - Apply - Start

Now the Repair function completes successfully.

Thanks to the two people who responded to my plea for help. Did not need to execute either recommendations.

Turns out the same problem appeared on my Desktop PC as well. Fix worked on both.
