Windows XP No Wireless Connection Icon

Question

I have Windows XP and I am trying to connect my laptop to my wi-fi, but I have no wireless connection icon the only icon i have is LAN, and I need wireless. Can anyone help I hope I was specific enofe? Thank You

Are you sure you have a wireless card?  Go into Device Manager to verify.
