WiPeer--a program that connects computers-no router needed. But does not work on Dells?!

You can download the app at www.wipeer.com/download.html it is completely free. It is very useful for sharing files on two computers with wireless capabilities, and no router or internet connection is necessary. Much faster and convenient than portable USB's and takes seconds to install and use. The only problem is it doesn't work on Dell systems. Other brands connect easily but the Dell models I have show a message stating: "Your wireless network is being managed by third party software. You are currently disconnected. In order to connect either use your third party software or disable it and turn on Wireless Zero Config" I am not very adept with networking and don't want to mess around with my network settings and ruin my regular internet connection. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Completely unnecessary.  You can create a wireless peer to peer network between any two machines that have wireless cards in them.

Might be helpful, however, for those who do not have a grasp on networking.
