Wireless 1505 mini card 802.11n configuration

I have an inspiron 1721 with wirless 802.11n mini card. I also have Dlink DIR-615 router. the router is set to 802.11n mode and the card is verfied and updated by dell teck support. I had a connection with 130Mbps for about 30 min then it drops down to about 26Mbps and sometimes even lower . Also when I high light the network it shows the connection is 802.11g. Any idea why I have that poor of a connection? is that a Dlink problem or my card? Is there any way to improve the perfomance of the network?

Thanks

I would try resetting the router. I recently picked one up because I found it on sale, but after doing some research it seems to be a very problematic router. I'll be exchanging mine for a netgear tomorrow. There was an update released by D-link that may help to rectify your problems. I believe it's called revision (REV) 2. Good luck, Lamar

thanks, I changed the router and it seems to be my network card is the problem. Now I have my desktop hooked wireless @ 300 mbps but my laptop at best is 104 mbps. so I'm calling dell for card replacement.

Thanks, Amr
