Wireless adapter and power management

I recently received my Inspiron B130 and have been online with it using the wireless network adapter. My issue is that when the computer goes into standby mode, the wireless adapter disconnects, and has to reconnect when I wake the computer. I have checked the power management settings, and from what I can see, the wireless adapter should remain enabled all the time. Is there some setting that I can change so the wireless adapter doesn't disconnect when the computer goes into standby?
