Wireless adapter driver needed

I lost my connection and have been unable to fix it.  Here's the deal:  running two Dell 2400 Dimensions, WXP SP2 on both, and Dell 2300 router hooked dirrectly to one.  The other has a Dell 1180 wireless USB adapter, and has been working fine.  I had a power outage, the computers blinked and whatever, and the USB connection was lost.  I tried system restore, uninstall/reinstall of the adapter, without help.  The reinstall of the software for the 1180 USB adapter won't take since it says it's for WXP SP1 and won't work with WXP SP2, which is what I have and it has been working.  I'm perplexed.  I feel if I can get the USB adapter installed all will be well.  Any suggestions?  And is there a source for drivers for the 1180 adapter that will work with SP2?  I've contacted Dell a number of times and have had absolutely no good results.

Thanks a bunch!  Odd that Dell people wouldn't give me that information, although I've asked a number of times.  I've downloaded what I think will help, and I'll install it on the errant computer and let you know how it works.  Thanks, again.

So much for trying.  I installed both programs and installed both, but, alas, they didn't seem to fix the problem.  Well, back to the drawing board.

Have you tried the drivers and firmware upgrade available on the Dell download site Here?

OK, what I meant to say is that I downloaded both, and then installed them.  I'll try again this morning.
