wireless adapter not seeing home network

Question

my compact g usb wireless adapter does not see my home network. Red X. The adapter reports that it is working. can anyone help?

rmillerjr                                                                                      Can you right click on the wireless adapter and then click troubleshoot? Maybe open up Networking and sharing center to see if you can enable the adapter.Maybe even uninstall and reinstall the adapter back into the system. You also may need to contact the maker of the adapter for support and help with configuration.
