Wireless Adapter

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 which apparently has a problem with the built in antenna or similar. The laptop is receiving internet signal from an existing wireless router with a lot of time down. Other PCs work fine under the same conditions. Problem is definitely reception.

Since I can not take the laptop to the US for repair, I thought about purchasing an additional antenna or device to supplement or enhance the already existing antenna.

I found several devices and I would like to know which one is the most suitable for the problem I’m facing.

Some of the identified devices are:

  • WG111 54 Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter
  • WN121T RangeMax NEXT Wireless-N USB 2.0
  • WN511B RangeMax NEXT Wireless Notebook Adapter

Please note I work with the PC outside the US and in many different countries, so I need a device able to connect to any wireless signal (public or private).

Help will be much appreciated. Thanks
