Why did you need to install drivers in the first place?  Did the computer not come with the drivers already installed?  Exactly which wireless network adapter do you have physically installed?  Which version of Windows are you running?

Hi steve. It's vista premium. The adaptor was disabled in the bios. I enabled it and when I checked the device status in device manager it had the error message device failed to start. I tried uninstalling the device and reinstalling it then tried the drivers to see if it would fix it. As far as I could make out it was the broadcom 8021.11n adaptor.

Call technical support.  It sounds like there is a problem with the wireless adapter.
