mattcoff,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Based on the current 1300 / 1400 cards, the 1450 will be better suited for future growth.

I'm planning on buying a 9100 (games and law school and hopefully professional stuff after that) and I was wondering:

1) Is it worth it to get the 1450 a/b/g wireless or would I be better off with the 1350 b/g.

2) Should I get bluetooth now or should I get it later (I have no plans on buying a BT mouse)?

3) Are the internal BT better than the USB version?

4) Would it be cheaper to put in an internal BT card if I decide to get it later?

Thanks

I'd echo the BT questions.  I have a 9100 on order.  (Order placed 3/10; due to ship on Mon 4/5...not sure I believe that!)

ANYWAY...I configured it with BlueTooth intending to use it to HotSync my Palm Tungsten T.  Has anybody else used the BT adapter?  Is it as simple as it sounds?  I also want a numeric keypad for my PC, and I'd love to get one that connects via BT, but I can't seem to find one anywhere.

Well, I got the thing on Friday....and I've been poking with the thing most of the weekend!  I'm thinking of calling it "The Beast", 'cuz like my car, it's big, heavy, and amazingly fast!

I >have< successfully gotten my PDA to HotSync via BlueTooth....several times.  The annoying part is that I can't get the two machines to make friends for very long.  I have to enter the pairing string EVERY time, even though both are on the "trusted devices" list of the other.  Anybody know enough to tell me if there's any way around this??
