What kind of internet connection do you have (cable or dsl)?  Do you have any other computers connecting to the router that can successfully connect to the internet?  What do you mean when you say "all of the bridges are connected"?  Are you leaving out details of how your network is set up?

Note that if you are changing the connection to a cable modem between a computer and a router, or between computers, you need to do a complete reset of the network every time you make the change. To do this, shut everything off. Wait about 5 minutes. Turn on the modem first, and wait another 5 minutes. Then turn on the device that is connected directly to the modem.  A cable modem will not connet to another device unless this reset procedure is done everytime the connection changes.

I have cable now...and the computer that I'm typing on is currently hooked up to it and when i switch it to my other laptop it doesn't work on it. When i was talkin about the bridges...theres a thing on my computer next to the Local Area Connection icon that says Network bridges connected. I don't know what i'm doing wrong, it was working fine a couple of weeks ago...

Hi! hope this will help.

Disable network bridge from network connection then right click on local area network then click on remove from bridge, do the same thing on wireless network connection. Once network bridge is connected that means both local area network and wireless network connection are bridge. After removing them from bridge try reconnecting to wireless network. see if it works.
